Definitely don't think you're too old. She's a young' un, but she has a new twist on a classic sound so I think that makes her fit all sorts of generations! And...well... you're just not old anyway!
Thanks for stopping by on my patriotic stuff. I think you're right on the "testing" piece. I sort of said my thing at Memorial Day, but it feels like she's bringing it back up to really see where things lie. I'm going to make my response today before too much time has past.

I don't believe in applying age-ism to music appreciation. If you like it, you like it. Period.
If "Wheels on the Bus" is my fave tune, so what? Who gets hurt, right?
Actually, I only use the Wheels on the Bus example because I put it on a CD mix for my son when he graduated from university recently...
