Yes, that was me, just five days after preaching my kickassingest sermon ever on
Buy Nothing Day, the overcommercialization of christmas and etc, spending 4 hours and 4 digits at Ikea.
But now whatever else happens, at least we've got that sofa problem handled.

Yeah, J says we should all bring our own chairs with us, like he does, then we wouldnt ahve to worry about this buying the furniture business...
I'm confused...what was the sofa problem that the Fight Club fixed?
I am with songbird on this one.
When people who havent seen it ask me what fight club is about, I always tell them that it's about how trying to escape consumerism in this culture makes you crazy. And that sofa line is a line from the movie we quote at my house whenever we like to imagine that we have everything figured out, but think we probably dont.
