....a certain grumpiness around your place?
I'm thinking the combined vitriol and uncertainty of the election season are a pretty potent cocktail for some of our dear ones.
Or else, it's just that I've been here a year and the honeymoon is over, honey.

no, I think, I'm the one who is grumpy.
It's not only the trepidation re: the upcoming elections...but the rising gas prices, rising food prices, unstable economy...and perhpas, in part, due to our expectation, as a "culture" (in general), to have all our problems solved within the span of time that it takes to sit down and watch a TV Sitcom....I kid you not! A few yrs ago, I ran into an old high-school friend, who said that his life was just awful....and began to relate an episode of "Sanford & Son", in which a similar problem had been solved, in that 30 minute timeframe. He wanted to know (in all seriousness) why "life couldn't be THAT easy?"
I, too, have noticed the "nervousness", and the "grumpiness" that you speak of....
K - yep, it's probably more than just election shivers...
D - hang in there!
